There are a few things that actually make me sad, and finishing the pages on this planner is one thing I did not think would make me sad, but it has. I got the MNM Planner over a year ago through a raffle, and it has been my daily companion ever since. From the get-go, I didn’t use it as much as I thought I would, but when I did, I haven’t stopped since.

The Planner looks good, feels good, and makes the user feel good, too. At least I would feel good when I used it because it helped me declutter my brain and organize my life. I could go on and on about how I used it, but why not show you? This is a real and unedited entry from 9th May, 2025.

I woke up that day feeling very mentally fatigued and did not want to do anything. I had a lot going on in my head, and on top of that, I had decision paralysis. I doom-scrolled Twitter for an hour and watched a bunch of YouTube videos before getting out of bed. I also had work to do, but did not know where to start, so I whipped out the MNM planner and started writing. Off the top of my head, I was freelancing for a marketing agency, and they needed copy for June content for three brands. I had also seen one of The Legacy Hub’s videos on using a Money Manager and needed to set it up for myself – spoiler alert: I still use it today! I also wanted to write a new edition of my weekly Newsletter to Nyx and did not want to forget about it. Furthermore, I had some overdue video scripts for yet another client that, up to today, I have never finished (the client forgot, so I forgot, too) because, for real, mambo ni mengi. As you can see, I needed to do those ASAP! They were very fitting to the “Changamkia” section because fr I needed to “changamkia hizo zote saa hii hii tu.”

Of course, I had other stuff to do that was not particularly urgent, so I had to “Pangia” and it was around the same time that a dear friend of mine had introduced me to Formula 1, so I had to catch up on all the lore, and would you believe I finished seasons 2 and 3 of Drive to Survive in one day? I have a feeling I completed all tasks under “Pangia” before I started on za “Changamkia.” I created an IG post for my blog, and audited another client’s social media pages, sent an invoice for an outstanding payment to yet another client, sent a reply email, and went BACK to YouTube and finished all videos I had downloaded. Fun fact, that was the least “busy day” I had.

There were days I filled the entire page that I spilled some tasks to “Delegate” and “Delete” yet I did not delegate nor delete any of them. In fact, as a freelancer, it is hard to delegate when you are doing everything by yourself, and it is equally as hard to delete because you HAVE to do all of them, again, by yourself! I used the “Mathogothanio” section as a record for when ideas would come to me, for example, on 11th November, the idea behind that was so that Nyx and I would have a physical hard drive for all our images, and frankly, I was tired of seeing all the Google One notifications to increase my storage limit. I followed up with a techie I know, and he quoted an outrageous figure for a hard drive, and I had no choice but to pay 110 New Singapore Dollars to Google for extra storage. And also, I wanted to do stuff for the love of the game, and I can confirm that nowadays, I do stuff EXCLUSIVELY for the love of the game.

The MNM Planner has seen me on my good days and on my bad days. It has been there through five pens and four different colours — red, blue, black, and my personal favourite, green. Quick sidebar: I now like using green pens because I used one on the MNM Planner and saw that it looked good, and I have never looked back since. The MNM Planner has seen me earn the most money I have ever touched and it has also seen me chasing five different invoices just to make rent. It has seen my brightest ideas and some so dumb that the CIA would need to nuke me once they get their hands on them. It has seen plans come to fruition and plans die on the doorstep. I feel sad because it has a lot of memories in it, and I am finishing the pages, but I won’t cry because it is over, but rather celebrate the journey I had with it.

However, I believe the planner has a lot of potential, and I would have loved checkboxes at the side to make it easier to “tick” tasks off them. If you are someone who has a lot going on in their life, I cannot stress this enough: get your Mambo Ni Mengi Planner from Punny Crafts today!

Sincerely,

Chacha Lesley,

A stress-free user.

From Me to You

Raphael – The School of Athens (1510-1511)

It has been a minute, but within that minute, I got sick, and I am now feeling better. I feel like the body remains the weakest link in humanity, but I will get into that another day.

To the March babies, I hope your Mambo never becomes Mengi sana that you have decision paralysis. Oh, and may your Spotify never lag or show you any ads. And, may your cat never go hungry.

As you declutter your mind, you can read how I decluttered my going back home in Encore to My Roots.
